Aqsiq supervises and inspects 21 types of products including wires and cables

The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine recently issued a notice that it will jointly carry out quality supervision of power grid equipment and materials with multiple departments, involving 21 types of products such as wire and cable. Power grid equipment and materials are the basis of national power grid construction projects such as urban distribution network and rural power grid, and their product quality is directly related to the safety and stability of the power grid system, and directly affects the healthy and rapid development of China's social economy.

In order to carry out a good power equipment material product quality supervision action, AQSIQ product quality Supervision Department decided to jointly with the China Water Conservancy and Power Quality Management Association, the State Grid Company materials Department, China Southern Power Grid Company materials Department held a power grid equipment material quality supervision action kickoff meeting in Beijing on September 15, to start and deploy related work.

This quality supervision action to transformers, switches, capacitors, arresters, arc suppression coil, box-type substation, wire and cable, iron tower, fittings, insulators and other 21 types of commonly used power grid equipment material products as the focus, Random selection of the State Grid Corporation and China Southern Power Grid Company in the past two years, as well as the inspection agencies that issued product inspection reports for the winning enterprises to conduct field inspections, involving Hebei, Jiangsu, Anhui, Guangdong, Liaoning, Zhejiang, Beijing, Shanghai and other 8 provinces and cities.

The General Administration of Quality Supervision made it clear that the inspection institutions and enterprises that issue false reports will be dealt with by the local quality supervision departments in accordance with the corresponding regulations. For enterprises with non-standard management, technical parameters of actual production products and commitments to the society and users, the State Grid and Southern Power Grid Company shall refer to them in the bidding process, suspend the awarding of bids for serious cases, and publish the list to the society according to the situation; Local quality supervision departments dynamically adjust the quality credit and product quality classification supervision levels.
